This laboratory provides a hands-on experience with the testing and evaluation of civil engineering materials including steel, wood, cements, aluminum, brass and brick etc., Equipments available in this laboratories are Universal Testing Machine, Torsion Testing Machine, Compression Testing Machine etc.
The important function of this laboratory is to gain knowledge in detailed surveying, plotting of survey data, preparation of survey maps and setting out works. This laboratory gives an experience in handling of various surveying equipments like Chain Surveying, Compass Surveying, Leveling and GPS.
Gain knowledge in basic concepts and principles of hydrostatics, hydro-kinematics and hydrodynamics and their application in solving fluid flow problems, measuring fluid pressure, behavior of fluid and characteristics of various pumps and Turbines.
In order to use the computer effectively in drafting, this Computer Aided Drafting laboratory gives various skills in drawings of Villas, Flats , School Buildings, Hospital Buildings, Public Health Engineering, Bridge Engineering and Structural Engineering which is used to prepare the approval drawings for submission to authority.
