Under the guidance of Principal Prof. N. Palanisamy, Annamalai Polytechnic College NSS unit, in collaboration with Prabhu Dental Hospital in Karaikudi, organized a free dental camp on January 9, 2025. The event took place on the college campus and aimed to provide dental check-ups and raise awareness among students, staff, and the local community. The event aimed to educate people about oral hygiene, identify dental issues, and offer free consultation and treatment.

The camp received an overwhelming response, with 250 participants benefiting from free check-ups and advice. Many individuals who had not visited a dentist in years were able to address long-standing dental issues. The camp reflected the core values of NSS, contributing to the welfare of society and encouraging a spirit of service among students. The NSS Programme Officer, Mr VR. Shankar Ganesh meticulously coordinated the event.
