Place of Visit-Valuthur Gas Turbine Power station (192 MW)

Second-year EEE students and three staff visited Valuthur Gas Turbine Power station, Ramanathapuram, on 14-03-2024. At the power plant, students learned about the combined cycle operation of the plant, SCADA functions, SF6 circuit breaker and the transformer, which links the generating station and switchyard.
