National Cadet Corps (NCC) aims to develop character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it seeks to create a pool of organized, trained, and motivated youth with leadership qualities from all walks of life who will serve the nation regardless of their chosen career. NCC also provides an environment encouraging young Indians to join the armed forces.

The Army wing of the NCC unit is functioning in our institute under the 9 (TN) NCC Battalion, Karaikudi. Under the leadership of Major R. Viask Kolappan, NCC Officer, our unit is functioning well.
